The Faculty of Dentistry's Outreach Program brings mobile dental clinics to poor neighbourhoods to treat those who fall between the cracks. The program relies on private support, and dental students also hold fundraising events each year. Students can get involved in a variety of initiatives to help the poor and disenfranchised, through Chaplaincy Services and groups such as the McGill chapter of Santropol Roulant, a meals on wheels service.
