The Office of International Research wishes you a happy, healthy and productive 1999.

European Union: In December 1998, the Canadian government renewed its Agreement for Cooperation in S&T with the European Union. This permits Canadians to join E.U. research consortia. Canada's Embassy in Paris will co-host a Canada-Europe Technology Partnering event on February 23; McGill researchers are welcome to attend. Call the Office of International Research (Tel. 4197) if interested. Details of current Canadian involvement in European Union programs and possible sources of funding will be on NSERC's website shortly: www.nserc.ca.
