Making a splash

Biochemistry student Lisa Virgini earned six gold medals and led her Martlet teammates to the Quebec championship earlier this month. More recently she qualified for April's World Short Course Swimming Championship with a performance in the 200m backstroke that has her ranked eighth in the world. Along with teammates like Olympic medalist Marianne Limpert and highly-ranked Holly McComb, Virgini is currently taking part in the Canadian university championships
